Psalm 25

To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul. My God, in you I trust; do not let me be put to shame; do not let my enemies exult over me.

Do not let those who wait for you be put to shame; let them be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous. Make me know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths.

Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day.

Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; remember me according to your steadfast love and for the sake of your goodness, O Lord.

Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.

All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his decrees.

Psalm 119

Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord. Blessed are those who keep his decrees, who seek him with their whole heart, who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways.

You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently. O that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes!

Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments. I will praise you with an upright heart, when I learn your righteous ordinances.

I will observe your statutes; do not utterly forsake me!

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

I have sworn an oath and confirmed it, to observe your righteous ordinances.

I am severely afflicted; give me life, O Lord, according to your word.

Accept my offerings of praise, O Lord, and teach me your ordinances.

Though the proud have smeared me with lies, I will keep your precepts with my whole heart.

Be gracious to me according to your promise, and grant me your salvation, that I may observe your law.

I am your servant; give me understanding, that I may know your decrees.

It is time for the Lord to act, for your law has been broken.

Truly I love your commandments more than gold, more than pure gold, more than honey, and drippings of the honeycomb.

Let your steadfast love comfort me according to your promise to your servant.
